ICC arrest warrant for crimes against humanity and war crimes including child abduction and forced marriage

Self-proclaimed prophet and commander of the Lord's Resistance Army. The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Kony on 8 July 2005 (unsealed 13 October 2005), charging twelve counts of crimes against humanity (including murder, enslavement, sexual enslavement, and rape) and twenty-one counts of war crimes (including conscription of children under fifteen, attacks against civilians, and pillaging). Human Rights Watch and UN reports document tens of thousands of children abducted and forced into combat, sexual slavery, or "wifehood" to LRA officers.
